According to the tradition, Alanus de Rupe a 15th century Dominican friar, received 15 promises from our Blessed Mother concerning devoutly praying the Rosary. One of these promises is special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary. We are called not only to abstain from luxuries during Lent, but to a true inner conversion of heart as we seek to follow Christ's will more faithfully.
