ARE GAMING OPINIONS ON THE INTERNET WORTH THE READ? The state of gaming in 2025
Welcome back to Kazifu Gaming — where we talk about everything from GTA Online grinds to the real conversations about gaming that most creators avoid. Today, we’re diving deep into the current state of gaming, the growing hypocrisy in the community, and why so many people have forgotten how to simply enjoy the games they buy. If you’ve been gaming since the 2000s, the ’90s, or even the ’80s, you know exactly what I mean. Back then, when you got a new game, it was pure excitement. You didn’t worry about critics or online hate. You just threw the disc into your PlayStation or Xbox and got lost in it. There was no such thing as a “trash game” before release — and definitely no one yelling about “woke” storylines on social media. Fast forward to today, and it feels like every game sparks an argument before it even drops. Take Assassin’s Creed Shadows, for example. The moment Ubisoft announced Yasuke, the Black Samurai, the internet went crazy. People claimed it wasn’t “historically accurate” — ignoring the fact that real historians confirmed Yasuke’s existence. The same crowd that trashed the game before it came out now suddenly says it’s amazing compared to other titles. And then we’ve got Ghost of Yotei — or as the internet nicknamed it before launch, “Ghost of Wokai.” All because it featured a female main character. But now that the game’s actually out, players and critics are loving it. The story, visuals, and emotion are all top-tier. Funny how opinions change once people actually play the game, right? I just platinumed Ghost of Tsushima, and I’m still hooked. It reminded me why I fell in love with gaming in the first place — that feeling of losing track of time, exploring every corner, chasing that last collectible. But the sad truth is that many gamers today are more focused on trends than fun. My message is simple: just buy what you enjoy. Don’t let people on TikTok, YouTube, or Twitter decide what’s worth your time. Whether you’re building in Minecraft, grinding in GTA Online, or slicing through enemies in Ghost of Yotei, play for yourself — not for likes or validation. Sure, if a game releases broken, like Cyberpunk 2077 did at launch, then yeah — the criticism makes sense. But hating a game because of leaks, alpha footage, or a single trailer? That’s just noise. The same thing’s happening with Wolverine PS5 right now. People saw early footage and instantly called it “a PS3 game.” Like, do we even understand how game development works anymore? That’s why I made this video — to remind everyone why we started gaming in the first place. It wasn’t for the drama. It wasn’t to argue online. It was for fun, for the stories, for the escape. So, if you’re tired of the constant negativity in the gaming scene, hit play, sit back, and let’s talk about what gaming used to be — and what it still can be. And hey, I know some people might not like what I say here. I might even get “cancelled.” But come on — I’ve got 82 subscribers. Let’s be real, nobody’s cancelling that! 😂 If you enjoy honest gaming talk, not just the usual #GTAOnline daily collectibles, Gun Van updates, or Cayo Perico guides, make sure to subscribe. I’ll be streaming Ghost of Yotei soon (or maybe I already have by the time you’re watching this). Either way, there’s more coming — from #Minecraft survival builds to #GTA5 tips and everything in between. 👉 Like this video if you’re tired of fake outrage in gaming. 👉 Subscribe for more real talk, daily GTA updates, and chill gameplay. 👉 Drop a comment — do you think gaming has lost its fun, or are people just more opinionated now? Let’s bring back the good days — when gaming was about passion, discovery, and having a good time. Whether you’re exploring Los Santos, building your dream castle in Minecraft, or fighting through feudal Japan in Ghost of Yotei, remember: the only person who decides if a game is fun is you.
