We already know the key specifications of the Find X8s which is a compact flagship with extremely narrow bezels. Now, the specifications of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra have leaked online ahead of the official launch. These were shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo. As the name suggests, it is the successor to the Find X7 Ultra, which was launched in January last year. Speaking of the design, the Find X8 Ultra looks similar to the Find X8 Pro. The circular camera module on the rear has four sensors, and the camera module is black for all the color options. There is a flat display on the front with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The frame is flat, and the bezels on the Find X8 Ultra are as slim as 1.4mm. The main USP of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is its cameras. The phone has four cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 1-inch 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with an f/1.8 lens and OIS. The ultrawide camera has a 1/2.76″ 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor. The phone has two periscope telephoto cameras. The 3x periscope telephoto camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor, and an f/2.1 lens. The 6x periscope telephoto camera has a 1/1.95″50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with an f/3.1 lens. There is also a 2MP multispectral sensor on the rear for better color accuracy and an improved white balance. It is worth mentioning that the Oppo Find X7 Ultra had the same primary camera but its ultrawide camera had a 1/1.95″ 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor, the 3x telephoto had a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, and the 6x telephoto had a 1/2.51″ 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor. So, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra gets a bigger sensor for the 6x periscope telephoto camera, but the sensor size for the ultrawide has been reduced. There is also an improvement in the aperture as the 3x periscope camera on the Find X8 Ultra has an f/2.1 lens, versus an f/2.6 on the Find X7 Ultra. The 6x periscope telephoto camera has an f/3.1 lens on the Find X8 Ultra, versus an f/4.3 lens on the Find X7 Ultra. The selfie shooter has a 32MP sensor. So, there are some notable upgrades this time in the camera hardware. The battery is 6,100mAh, up from 5,000mAh in the Find X7 Ultra. The Oppo Find X8 Ultra supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, the same as last year. The phone is 8.78mm thick and weighs 226g. For comparison, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra was 9.5mm thick, and the weight was 221g. The phone is IP68 & IP69-certified. The phone has a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO OLED panel from BOE with a Quad-HD+ resolution and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner. For comparison, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra featured an optical under-display fingerprint scanner. Finally, the phone has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under the hood. Well, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is going to compete with the likes of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the other phones in this category.
