For each sandwich, take 2 bread slices, apply melted butter on both sides and place some caramelized onions on one slice, then the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. Cover with the second slice. Heat a non-stick pan, place the sandwich in it and cook till golden brown, flip and cook till the other side turns golden brown and cheese melts. Halve the sandwich and place on a serving plate and serve hot with French fries. Afghani Chicken Pulao: Ingredients: Chicken ½ kg Garlic 4 -5 cloves Ginger, chopped 1 tsp Onions, chopped 2 Green cardamoms 8 Coriander seeds 1 tsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Cloves 1 tsp Cinnamon sticks 3 Green chilies, chopped 2 -3 Red chili powder 1 tsp Tomatoes, chopped 2 Rice 2 cups Oil 2 tbsp Raisins ½ cup Carrot, cut in long strips 1 Method: Mix chicken, garlic, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, onion, coriander seeds, small cardamoms, salt and water in a pan. Cook till the chicken is done. Separate the meat from the stock and keep aside. The stock should measure 4 cups. If there is more, boil it down till you get 4 cups. Heat oil, fry onions till light golden. Add chicken pieces, chopped tomatoes, green chillies, red chili and cumin seeds. Stir well and then add rice and stock, bring to a boil, cover and cook till rice is tender. Simmer pan on a tawa for few minutes, till steam appears on the lid. Fluff up. Heat 2 tbsp oil and add the raisins and carrot strips and lightly fry, strain oil and add on top of rice and serve.
