The Mario Starship is about to take off! This ship... is shaped like Mario's head?! It seems so! Travel through the stars with Luma and his crew of Lumas, stopping in galaxies of all kinds. Each one is packed with challenges to overcome... and tons of Power Stars to collect! Soar through the stars: Run, jump, and spin! Use all of Mario's abilities to explore each galaxy, battle enemies, and overcome obstacles. Hop on Yoshi's back and use his long tongue to gobble up fruit, swallow rivals, and even swing! By collecting special power-ups, Mario can transform and gain new abilities, which will help him explore and defeat opponents. Yoshi can also gobble up special fruits that grant him unique abilities! Cloud Mario, Rock Mario, Speed Yoshi, Balloon Yoshi, Light Yoshi A stellar experience with co-op mode: Pass a Joy-Con controller to another person to lend a hand in both games! One player controls Mario, while the other uses the on-screen cursor to shake bushes, collect star bits, and even fire them at enemies to stun them! New Features: Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Nintendo Switch includes several improvements: Both games feature enhanced graphics. Assist Mode is available to make your adventure easier. This mode provides extra energy during gameplay, heals you if you don't move, and returns you to solid ground if you fall. You can toggle this mode on or off at any time. An additional chapter of Rosalina's Book of Tales is included in Super Mario Galaxy, along with a new story in Super Mario Galaxy 2. You can listen to the soundtracks of each game from the main menu. A total of 154 tracks are included! amiibo Compatibility: You can scan any Mario or Rosalina amiibo figure (sold separately) to get an extra Power Mushroom or an extra Life Mushroom, respectively.
