BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by 2K Marin and published by 2K Games. As a sequel to the 2007 video game BioShock, it was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360 on February 9, 2010. It was remastered as part of BioShock: The Collection, developed by Blind Squirrel Games. The collection features upgraded versions of these games to support higher display resolutions and framerates on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the exception of Infinite, which was ported to consoles from Windows. BioShock: The Collection was released in September 2016. Set in the fictional underwater dystopian city of Rapture, BioShock 2 takes place eight years after the events of the first game. You are Subject Delta, a hulking Big Daddy, and you must fight through Rapture to be reunited with Eleanor, you Little Sister, fighting off Splicers, the psychotic human population of the city, using weapons and an array of genetic modifications.
