🙏📿Holy Rosary Prayer For Today | Friday Sorrowful Mysteries | Friday Rosary | 4th April 2025 📿
🙏 Holy Rosary Friday | Sorrowful Mysteries | Holy Messiah’s Command 🌹 The Holy Rosary Friday is devoted to the Sorrowful Mysteries, which allow us to deeply reflect on the passion and death of Jesus Christ. Through these mysteries, we witness Christ’s ultimate sacrifice, His unfathomable love, and His suffering for the salvation of the world. By meditating on these painful yet redemptive moments, we grow in faith, humility, and perseverance. As we pray, we unite our own sufferings with Christ’s, finding strength and hope in His victory over sin and death. 🌿 The Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary (Friday) 🌿 1️⃣ The Agony in the Garden (Luke 22:39-46) 🌿 In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prays, overwhelmed with sorrow, knowing the suffering He must endure. His sweat turns to drops of blood, yet He surrenders completely to the Father’s will, saying, “Not My will, but Yours be done.” 💡 Reflection: This mystery teaches us to trust in God’s plan, even in our darkest moments. 2️⃣ The Scourging at the Pillar (Matthew 27:26) 🩸 Jesus is tied to a pillar and brutally scourged by Roman soldiers. His flesh is torn, and His blood spills to the ground. He suffers silently, offering His pain for our sins. 💡 Reflection: We are reminded of the terrible cost of sin and are called to repent and seek purity of heart. 3️⃣ The Crowning with Thorns (Matthew 27:29) 👑 Mocking His kingship, the soldiers place a crown of thorns on Jesus’ head. They strike Him and spit upon Him, ridiculing Him as “King of the Jews.” The thorns pierce His sacred head, causing intense suffering. 💡 Reflection: This mystery invites us to embrace humility and remain steadfast in faith during trials. 4️⃣ The Carrying of the Cross (Luke 23:26-32) ✝️ Weakened by His wounds, Jesus carries the heavy wooden cross through the streets of Jerusalem. He falls three times under its weight but continues out of love for humanity. Simon of Cyrene is forced to help Him, and Veronica wipes His Holy Face. 💡 Reflection: We are called to carry our own crosses with faith and help others bear their burdens. 5️⃣ The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus (Luke 23:33-46) 🕊️ At Calvary, Jesus is nailed to the cross, suffering excruciating pain. Despite His agony, He forgives His executioners, welcomes the repentant thief into paradise, and surrenders His spirit, saying, “Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit.” The sky darkens, the earth shakes, and the temple veil is torn in two. 💡 Reflection: This mystery reveals God’s boundless love and mercy and calls us to surrender our lives to Him. 🙏 Why is it important to pray the Rosary?
