This week, we are reminded of the words of the angel to the shepherds: “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!” (Luke 2:10-11, NLT) The shepherds’ response of awe and action encourages us to share the joy of this good news with the world. This Third Sunday in Advent is a reminder to pause and rejoice in God’s faithfulness.
