
Korean Fried Chicken Wings
Korean Fried Chicken Wings ππΆοΈ Sharing one of my favorite chicken wing recipes! I love the spicy, sweet, and savory flavors of the sauce. I air fry these wings to make them relatively healthier, but feel free to cook in the oven or just deep fry. Enjoy! Ingredients: -1 lb chicken wings -4 tbs cornstarch -2 tbs flour -1 1/2 tsp salt -1 tsp black pepper -1 tbs olive oil -sesame seeds for garnish Spicy Korean Sauce: -1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce -3 tbs rice vinegar -3 tbs gochujang red chili paste -2 tbs honey -2 tbs tomato ketchup -2 tbs brown sugar -1 tbs gochugaru red pepper flakes -1 tbs sesame oil -1 tsp garlic powder -1 tsp white pepper Instructions: -separate flat from drum and pat wings dry with paper towels -add wings to bowl with 1 tsp of salt and 2 tbs of cornstarch; mix well -place wings on a wired rack and place in fridge for at least 4 hours up to overnight -transfer wings to bowl and add 1 tbs olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tbs of cornstarch, and 2 tbs of flour; mix well -place wings in air fryer and spray with oil -bake at 250F for 20 minutes; rest for 10 minutes -mix sauce ingredients and set aside -cook wings at 400F for 8 minutes -coat wings gently in sauce and air fry at 400F for 5 minutes -brush with more sauce and garnish with sesame seeds #chicken #chickenrecipes #chickendinner #koreanfriedchicken #koreanfood #friedchicken #airfried #easyrecipes #tender #juicychicken #appetizers #lunch #dinner #easydinner #dinnerideas #airfryer #recipeoftheday #seasoning #quickmeals #simplerecipes #flavor #weeknightdinner #homechef #food #foodie #cooking
