Who should be invited to a dinner party? Jesus says (Luke 14) “When you hold a lunch or dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or your wealthy neighbors…Rather invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.” Is our generosity only limited to those we know already or is there room in your heart and mine for the poor? All are welcome here at St. Francis Xavier and this church was built to draw everyone in Payne County to the heavenly Jerusalem.
