Key challenges to this come from MAIMONIDES’ principles 2 and 3. We find the SON whenever God appears in physical form. We find the SPIRIT whenever God sends himself to interact with the minds and hearts of Israel. Key passage: “No man MAY SEE ME AND LIVE!” (Exodus 33:20) And yet, there are many examples in the Scriptures where Israelites SAW GOD. (Exodus 24:9-10; Judges 13) Whenever people in the Tanakh saw God, they saw the PERSON in the Tri-unity who CAN BE SEEN. Who changed Jacob’s name?1) A MAN 2) GOD 3) The LORD 4) An ANGEL Yeshua is the IMAGE of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15) Jewish hints at the Tri-Unity of God include the Memra, Logos, Wisdom, and “Lesser Hashem.” Before Rabbinic Judaism reacted negatively to Yeshua, belief in the Tri-Unity of God was KOSHER.
