Water-Wood Beast is a Yaoguai Chief in Black Myth: Wukong. From Foothills' Verdant Path Shrine, go past the Supreme Celestial Inspector area and at the edge of the next small area (where you are after obtaining Somersault Cloud), turn left. Go straight to the end and there will be some water with bubbles coming from the middle. Approach it and the Water-Wood Beast will come out of the water. Upon its defeat, the Water-Wood Beast will drop Mind Core and Refined Iron Sand. Normal versions of Water-Wood Beast can be encountered in Foothills.
