Vegan tries meat for the first time in eight years 🤯
I caved. After nearly 8 years of being vegan, I couldn’t ignore it anymore. I finally realized I was missing something. The cravings, the fatigue, the constant battle between what I believed and what my body was telling me… it was exhausting. I’d like to take this moment to apologize to the vegan community. It’s been a point of contention in my marriage with my wife being who she is. But I had to be real with myself and admit that, for years, I’ve preached a lifestyle that, deep down, just wasn’t sustainable for me. I tried to ignore the truth, but my favorite thought leaders like @jordan.b.peterson and even @russellbrand finally helped me see the light. So today, I wanted to share the truth in case you start to see contradictory content on my page and are confused. I still support vegans, but I’ve decided to start eating meat again… …because mushrooms ARE meat. Boom! This video is from a weekend retreat at Gratitude Garden Farm @gratitudegardenfarm2315, where I got to experience the true power of plants, sprouts, and mushrooms. And after everything I learned, there is absolutely no reason to eat animals. None. Stop the cap. Dr. Atkins’ passing is proof that the Atkins Diet he promoted (no matter how many times it gets rebranded as “carnivore” or “lion’s” diet) was never sustainable. So if you’re still reading, I’m still vegan y’all! And I ain’t never going back! P.S. This mushroom “steak” was 🔥 and packed with more nutrients than most people’s “real meat” meals. Thanks Chef Collin!
