When Rick is on his morning walk he comes across the sign, freaking out and trying to run back and warn everyone, but by then it’s too late because Donna against everyone’s warnings, opened the door to a house allowing a Walker to sneak up behind her and bite her right in the eye. Allen watches his wife starting to be eaten, as he runs attempting to help her but Rick comes in screaming for NO ONE to shoot no matter what they do. The tension rises higher and higher as more walkers join in on the feeding frenzy and this causes Allen to fly into a rage firing his weapon while Tyreese holds him back, causing every walker within the entire community to take notice and head their way. Now everyone ends up escaping together but Allen tells them he wants to be left behind because he can’t leave her, and this is part of what I love about The Walking Dead because sometimes the world just feels so hopeless and depressing, but it’s a story about surviving TOGETHER, so of course Allen comes to his senses and makes it out of there.
