Leave the room, grab the Green Herb from the breakable box in the corridor, and then exit the building to discover you're in the sewage system. Along the linear path ahead, make sure to take the Kitchen Knife out of the body; you'll need it shortly. You'll encounter some Villagers patrolling the building upstairs, so get stealthy and sneak up on them, instantly killing them with an attack from the Kitchen Knife.
