EASY MINI MACRAME WALLHANGING | MACRAME FOR BEGINNERS | MACRAME TUTORIAL
In today’s tutorial we are making these adorable little macrame wallhangings! This is a great beginners pattern and should only take about 30-45 minutes to make. In the video I made the red one, and my cords measured 42 inches, it is quite small so if you should want it longer, or are just starting out, it is ALWAYS a good idea to cut a few extra inches in cord length to make sure they don't end up being too short, which can easily happen if your cords are even slightly thicker than mine, or, if you are using a rope instead of string, it uses more cord as well because it is wound tighter and doesn't have as much "give" when tying knots, therefore it will require more cordage. The Wild Rose cord I used in this tutorial is available here: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/93812... The Natural cord in the photo is available here: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/94309... Here is what I used: 8in/20.7cm wooden dowel -5mm single ply cord cut to: 1 x 32in/81cm 14 x 42in/107cm, (its a good idea to cut them closer to 45-46in if you are a beginner) -metal pet brush.
