Chhole pulao is a quick one pot meal which you can whip up in just 15 minutes! It’s extremely simple to make, tastes delicious, you just need to try it out! Ingredients I used: 1 cup boiled chickpeas 1 cup rice + water for soaking 2 tbsp oil + ghee 6 peppercorns 3 cloves 1/2 inch cinnamon stick 2 cardamoms 1 small piece of star anise 2 or 3 bayleaves 1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds 1 medium onion, sliced 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste 4 green chillies, whole (you can slit them too but I just added them for their flavour. Have you ever tried doing that?) 3 tomatoes, roughly chopped salt red chilli powder Kitchen king masala coriander leaves (optional) Procedure: Heat a mix of ghee and oil in a pan and add whole spices. Fry till fragrant. Add onions and ginger garlic paste. Add green chillies and mix well. Once the onions change colour add tomatoes. Add red chilli powder, salt and kitchen king masala. Add boiled chickpeas and rice. Mix well. Add water and let it cook. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving. Enjoy! #chhole #chole #pulao #pulaorecipe
