God Gives Us Another Chance Today’s Gospel tells us how our God is a forgiving God who gives us second chances. In this season of Lent, we are reminded of how God gave us the biggest second chance of all, by sending His own son to be sacrificed for our sins, so that we will have eternal life with God.
