Scroll through until you get to "Battery". Here, you should see the "Charging" option. Tap on it to open it's sub-menu. Step 2: Next, drag the Charge Limit slider to 100%. It is most likely set to 80%. This is the reason it isn't charging beyond that. Step 3: Once you set it to 100%, choose either "Allow Until Tomorrow" or "Set Limit To 100%" from the pop-up. The "Optimised Battery Charging" toggle will go active and reveal that its is enabled. Step 4: Tap on the toggle to turn it off, if you wish. A prompt will come up from which you can choose either "Turn Off Until Tomorrow" or "Turn Off". The toggle will then turn grey. Optimised Battery Charging when enabled allows your iPhone to learn your charging patterns. If the charge limit slider is at 100%, this means that your iPhone will charge only up to 80%. However, it will still charge to full capacity if it determines that you're about to use your iPhone. This is based on the aforementioned charging patterns it learnt.
