Instrumentation of Raman spectroscopy

Raman Spectroscopy - Theory video already published. Link    • What is Raman spectroscopy - Theory!   Prof. CV Raman discovered this and was awarded the 1930 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work. Raman spectroscopy is one of science's easiest-to-use, the most powerful & most versatile analytical techniques. Raman spectroscopy been utilized for vast applications from medical diagnostics to material science and reaction analysis. Raman is used to understand more about the make-up of materials. 1st ever Raman "instrument" constructed in 1928 & used monochromatic sunlight as a light source & a human eye as a detector. Modern instrumentation consists of a laser, Rayleigh filter, a few lenses, a spectrograph & a detector (CCD or ICCD).
