Castlevania Lords of Shadow - 100% Walkthrough - Chapter 2 - The Black Knight

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow takes place in a time known as the "End of Days," in 1047. The alliance between Earth and Heaven has been threatened by the evil force of the Lords of Shadow, and a dark spell now hangs over the Earth, preventing the souls of the dead from resting in peace. As a result, creatures of darkness roam the world and plague the remaining population. The main character, Gabriel Belmont, is a member of the Brotherhood of Light, an elite group of knights who protect and defend the innocent from dark creatures. Gabriel's wife, Marie, was brutally murdered by one of these beings, and now her soul cannot leave this world due to the spell imposed by the Lords of Shadow. Marie realizes that the souls tormented by the spell, like hers, belong to a game of great proportions. The central plot involves the God Mask, an extremely powerful artifact said to be able to resurrect any individual. Gabriel intends to defeat the three factions of the Shadow Lords in order to obtain the pieces of the Mask of God (fragmented into three parts by the Lords), and bring his wife Marie back to life.
