Recipe in Hindi Ingredients: • Flour - 2 cups • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon Sugar - 1/4 teaspoon • Ghee - 3 to 4 tablespoons Method: • Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Add milk little by little and knead the dough. • Knead a soft dough and knead it with your hands for a while. Apply 1/2 teaspoon oil all over it so that the dough doesn't dry out. • Cover it with a cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes, then knead it a little more. • Now take a large ball of dough, apply some dry flour on it, and roll it out into a large roti. • Now apply 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of ghee to the entire roti. (The ghee should be slightly frozen, not completely melted.) • Apply a little (about a teaspoon) of dry flour on it and spread it evenly over the entire roti. • Make small layers of this roti as shown in the video. Press each layer lightly. • Now hold the edge of this long layer of dough and lengthen it a little so that the layers form properly. • Now, holding it from one side, roll it into a round ball and then press it lightly with your hands. Make all the balls in this manner. • Cover all the balls with a cloth and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. • Now, apply a little dry flour to one ball and begin rolling it gently. Place it on a hot pan to bake. Once it's cooked slightly, flip the paratha over. • Add a teaspoon of ghee to each side and bake thoroughly. (You can also use oil instead of ghee.) • The delicious lachha paratha with its many layers is ready to eat. Serve it. Recipe in English: Lachha Paratha Introduction: The lachha paratha is a typical paratha of Rajasthan. This is made with wheat flour, with special efforts put in while rolling out the paratha to form layers within the paratha. It is best accompanied with a gravy or a curry vegetable. Ingredients: • Wheat flour - 2 cups • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon • Ghee – 3 to 4 Tablespoons Method: • Mix wheat flour and salt in a vessel and add little water and make dough. • Make a soft dough and knit it with hands for a few minutes. (Ghee is a bit thickened not completely melted) • Add a little wheat flour (as small as one teaspoon) on it and spread it all over the entire roti. • Make small layers of this roti as shown in the video. Pull all the layers together with a light hand. • Now grab this long layer dough from the edge and make a little longer so that the layers come out well. • Now hold on to one side and make a fine finish by making it a perfect circular shape dough and then again press it lightly with hands. In the same way, all the rotis will be made. • Cover all the made dough balls in a cloth and keep it for 5-10 minutes. • Now put a little wheat flour on a dough ball and start rolling with a light hand and keep it on the hot pan. Once the paratha is a little cooked, flip it over. • One on each side - put one teaspoon of ghee and cook it well. (Oil can be replaced by ghee) • Lachha paratha with lots of layers are ready to eat, serve them hot.
