A Victim’s Voice
🚨TRIGGER WARNING🚨 This choreographic work explicitly details the pain of the victim of the Stanford Rape Case and may be triggering to those who have experienced sexual assault in the past. I created this piece to explore the emotions the victim of the Stanford Rape Case felt while the whole country discounted her experiences and continued to list off the accomplishments of her assaulter. I want this piece to cause you to think and to hopefully want to advocate for change on our campuses in this country. If you want to get involved, EROC, which stands for End Rape On Campus is an excellent organization to reach out to. They fight for girls and boys to have their title IX rights in assault cases on campuses all over the country. http://endrapeoncampus.org/
