What is Cartography?
The focus of this session is on what we mean by cartography and geographic data visualisation. We introduce you to Ordnance Survey and the GeoDataViz team, and run through some of the projects and work we are involved with on a day-to-day basis. Then we look in detail at cartography. What it is and what are some of the techniques and considerations behind map making.
