After a long and problematic period of 6 months, I can finally present to all of you the project that I have been working on. Thriller World Tour 1983. I apologize if some songs sound out of tune, this is my first fanmade being made fully from multitracks/karaoke stems. Synopsis: The “Thriller World Tour” (also known as The “Thriller Tour”) was the first solo concert tour by American singer Michael Jackson to promote his newest album “Thriller”. This would be the first time that he would tour without “The Jackson’s”. The tour was announced in February of 1983 and his debut concert would take place on May 7th in London, England, the second leg starting on August 20th in Tokyo, Japan adding “The Lady In My Life”, with the final concert taking place on December 18th in New York City, United States. A third leg was said to kick off in February of 1984, but was canceled due to a fire accident during the filming of a Pepsi commercial in January of 1984 and later replaced with the “Victory Tour” which started in July of 1984. In the end, the tour spanned for 8 months, with 75 concerts to over 2.8 million fans across 10 countries.
