beginner tries to learn canon rock

im playing for exactly 2 years now and i want to challenge myself by learning canon rock. canon rock was my most played song on hard in guitar hero back when i was a kid (19 now, probably 13-ish). I'm planning to practice the whole piece and its fundamental techniques for approx. 3 months and see if i made any progress on fast picking and sweep runs. if i can't do the fast runs I'm going to make my own rendition on the parts that i cant do but I'll try to make it as original (jerry c) as possible. i forgot to add: this is my day 3 progress. nothin much, just learned the first half.
