
Jowar Sponge Cake Recipe | Cake under ₹200 | Cake Recipe
Ingredients: ✅Milk – 108 ml (¼ cup + 3 tbsp) ✅Vinegar – 2 ml (½ tsp) ✅Khandsari Sugar – 106 g (½ cup) ✅Oil – 27 ml (2 tbsp) ✅Jowar (Sorghum) Flour – 95 g (¾ cup + 1 tsp) ✅Cocoa Powder – 10 g (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) ✅Baking Powder – 1 g (¼ tsp) ✅Baking Soda – 1 g (¼ tsp) — Method: 1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F) and grease a 6-inch cake tin. 2. In a bowl, mix milk and vinegar. Let it sit for 5 minutes. 3. Add khandsari sugar and oil to the milk mixture and whisk until the sugar completely dissolves. 4. Sift in the jowar flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda. Gently fold everything together. 5. Pour the batter into your prepared cake tin. 6. Bake at 160°C for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. 7. Let the cake cool on a wire rack. 8. Slice and enjoy at room temperature!
