Life Hack: How to make COLD BREW COFFEE | The Best Method

Many people mistake cold brew coffee with iced coffee, but the way both are prepared is quite different. Typically cold brew coffee is made by simply steeping ground coffee beans in cold filtered water for a long period of time to extract the flavors. Iced coffee, on the other hand, is prepared by using regular hot coffee and pouring it over ice. This difference in brewing method results in a distinctly different tasting coffee, with cold brew coffee characterized as mellow, soft, smooth and lacking the bitterness and acidity of hot coffee drinks. CMH's Cold Brew Recipe Ingredients: 1 cup coffee beans, medium to coarsely ground 5 cups filtered water (you need pure, great water quality preferably from a spring) large coffee press or glass container mesh strainer & coffee filter Directions: Place ground coffee into glass container and add pure water. Stir thoroughly until all of the grounds are saturated with water. Place container in refrigerator and steep for 12 hours. When ready, strain coffee through a fine mesh strainer. To ensure little to no coffee bean residue, use a coffee filter in addition to your strainer. Pour over cold brew ice cubes and add cashew milk for creamer. Store in the refrigerator for up to 14 days. » My Last Video:    • CURRIED CHICKPEA Salad | Vegan Meal P...   » SUBSCRIBE:    / @cookmostlyhealthy6193   »   / cookmostlyhealthy   »   / cookmostlyhealthy   THANK YOU for tuning in, and please leave a comment if you have any suggestions for my next videos!
