Saints Simon & Jude – Apostles of Zeal and Hope
On October 28, the Church honors Saints Simon and Jude, two of the twelve Apostles of Jesus. Simon the Zealot was known for his passion and unwavering devotion. Jude Thaddeus, often invoked as the Patron Saint of impossible causes, brought hope to the hopeless through his intercession. Together, they preached the Gospel as far as Persia, where tradition tells us they were martyred for their faith. Their feast is a reminder of the courage, zeal, and hope found in following Christ to the end. 🙏 Patron Saints of: Desperate and impossible causes (St. Jude) 📅 Feast Day: October 28
