Praise the Lord - Psalm 113
#psalms #spiritualsongs #hallel #egyptianhallel #pesach #passover A few years ago, at a time when most of the world was in turmoil, dragged into a strange and alien isolationism, I decided to sit down with my guitar, and worship God. Very quickly a tune came to me, and as I opened the book of the Psalms, these words began to flow from my lips. God is so good, and as I lifted my voice to thank Him, that moment of joy in His presence became a song to be shared with you. Lyrics from Psalm 113 (in the Bible). Author unknown. Music by Peter Bellingham with Mark Hammond Guest saxophone player - Mike Haughton (Cliff Richard, Iona) Lyrics: Praise the Lord, servants of the Lord Praise the name of the Lord Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth, for evermore From the rising of the sun to its going down The name of the Lord is to be praised For the Lord is high above all nations And his glory above the heavens Who is like the Lord our God, seated on high Looking far down on the heavens and the earth Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth, for evermore From the rising of the sun to its going down The name of the Lord is to be praised He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the needy from the ashes To make them sit with princes He makes them sit with the princes of his people Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth, for evermore From the rising of the sun to its going down The name of the Lord is to be praised © and ℗ 2023 Peter Bellingham/ The Well STREAM/DOWLOAD FULL ALBUM (Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer) https://artists.landr.com/PeterBellin...
