SLAP Repair Rehab: Exercises For Improving Shoulder Mobility and Strength | Phase 2
Nine weeks post-surgery for a SLAP tear repair, this high school football player continues rehab with blood flow restriction (BFR) bands, building on Phase 1 techniques. The upper body ergometer (UBE), or “arm bike,” is a great exercise for warming up the shoulder girdle, working on proper scapular mechanics, and improving muscular endurance. Using the BFR bands allows a more demanding workout without overloading the surgically repaired shoulder. Effective and efficient rehab is criterion-based, not time-based. 🔹Move Better 🔹Feel Better 🔹Live Better Evolve Physical Therapy in Sherwood 20510 SW Roy Rogers Rd.
