Erythropoiesis
Erythropoiesis is the process by which progenitor cells in the marrow proliferate, differentiate into haemoglobin synthesizing normoblasts and mature into anucleated reticulocytes which are released into circulation and become a mature RBC.Erythropoiesis encompasses the differentiation and maturation of Haemopoietic stem cell through several stages resulting in formation of red cell. Collectively the progenitor and red cells are known as erythron.
