
How To Make Easy Shepherd Pie
This Shepherds Pie is soeasy and delicious. I'm using ground beef in place of the lamb and using beefed up instant potatoes for the topping. Ingredients 1 pound lean Ground Beef 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 package brown gravy mix 1 cup hot water 3/4 cup frozen peas 1 can diced carrots, drained 1 package Four Cheese instant potatoes, prepared 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded Salt and pepper to taste Directions Preheat oven to 350F. In oven proof skillet, brown ground beef and add garlic and onion powder. Season with s&p. Drain excess fat. Add gravy mix and hot water to ground beef. Stir until gravy is disolved. Add peas and carrots and stir. Make potatoes according to pagage directions using 1 cup water and 1 cup milk. Stir half of the cheese into the potatoes. Top ground beef with prepared potatoes and top potatoes with remaining cheese. Bake approximately 30 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown. #kathyssouthernkitchen #betheblessing #dothan
