The mini-album consisted of five songs, and was released on October 27, 2010 by S.M. Entertainment. The Album has sold 350,000 copies in Worldwide. The album is listed, by Gaon Album Chart as the third best-selling album of 2010 in South Korea, with 163,066 copies sold. Hoot debuted at the #1 spot on October 30, 2010 on the Gaon Chart. The song won Triple Crown on Inkigayo on November 28, 2010 and won 5 times on Music Bank of KBS. The song demo was written and recorded in the UK, with Nina Woodford singing the vocal, and then finished and mixed in Denmark.
