NASA Astronauts Return Home - LIVE Breaking News Coverage (Suni Williams & Butch Wilmore)
NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, who have spent over 9 months in space after being stranded when their spacecraft had problems, are returning home today in a SpaceX capsule. Join us for live re-entry and splashdown coverage as the NASA astronauts return to Earth. Suni Williams and Butch WIlmore were supposed to spend around a week at the International Space Station on their test flight of the Boeing Starliner, which launched on June 5, 2024. But there were issues with the Starliner, and NASA decided against Williams and Wilmore riding the Starliner home. So the two stranded astronauts ended up joining the crew of the International Space Station (ISS). Today they return to Earth with two other space station crew members in a SpaceX Dragon capsule. In this interactive live stream, host Steve Lookner brings you live breaking news coverage of the return home (including re-entry and splashdown) of Butch Wilmore and Suni WIlliams, and he’ll also read your comments and questions on the air!
