
Sourdough bread making
Sourdough bread day! Its a labor of love and SO WORTH the wait! Homemade bread making since September of 2023 and never turnd back added sourdough in May and loving it! 1/2 c starter 385g water 2 tsp salt 520g bread flour Inclusions can be any herb you enjoy at about a tablespoon for added flavor! I opted for plain today! Do three rounds of stretch and folds. 1st being 30 min after mixed, 2nd being 30 minutes after the first, then Last being 60 min after second! Let rise 8-12 hours. Shape, let rest in banaton while oven is preheated! Bake 450F in an oven safe banaton or 500F in a dutch oven! Bake 30 min with lid then 8-10 min longer without Dutch oven lid at the end of the 30 minutes! Your choice! I don’t do cups conversion so you will have to do your own research to convert if need. I’m newer at sourdough bread making and still learning but this is what works for me and what I’ve learned.
