Chord Melody is a great way to add interest to playing a melodic line supported by some harmony. Chord Melody is generally played with the thumb. My arrangements stay on or below the 12th fret (as some instruments do not have more than 12 frets) and the melody stays on strings 1, 2, or 3, so that the arrangements can be used by linear (high) or reentrant (low) tuning.
