How to stay healthy on vacation? I’ve used these rules with my clients for years and they almost always come back from vacation losing weight or not gaining any weight! 1). Move your body everyday. Yes vacation is nice to hang out by the pool for a little bit, but not all day. Get in some kind of exercise everyday whether it’s just walking, hiking, playing on the beach, gym, etc. 2). Have 1 meal per day be your “treat/cheat” meal. The other meals stick with protein and veggies mostly! 3). Try intermittent fasting. Skipping 1 meal out of the day can be an effective tool to keep you in a calorie deficit (usually breakfast is the one I skip most of the time when traveling) What else helps you stay healthy while on vacation?
