💖 Some Interesting Information You Might be Curious About 💖 Who Am I? 💖 💖 "LA PLANNING DIVA" is a youtube channel written, produced, and starring daniela zárate 👽, an extraterrestrial, multi-spirit kaleidoscope of a being interested in spurring spiritual and scientific revolutions in our collective human consciousness. 💖 BASED IN SAN DIEGO, CA 💖 LGBTQ+ 💖 Off the silver screen, Daniela is a research technician in a lung biology laboratory at the University of California, San Diego. She spends her working days managing a transgenic mouse colony and checking the genetics that arise from all of the different breeding strategies ocurring. She transitioned into a career in medical research after a long carrer studying the ecology, behavior, and evolution of social insect societies, mainly honey bees and wood ants. She completed her doctorate (PhD) in honey bee genomics and behavior at the University of California, San Diego in 2022.And then was awarded a UC Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Riverside with Dr. Jessica Purcell's research group, studying supergene evolution in ants. 💖 Daniela strongly believes in the importance and value of science communication and education and strives to make science both accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience. Her science communication style is broadly influenced by theater, dance, spoken word, comedy, and telenovelas. 💖 Daniela is also a zine maker and collecter and enjoys making zines that span the creative range from serious think-pieces to whimsical and silly fluff. It is set into a small tripod that lays on a stand on top of my desk and is balanced by a massive Quartz crystal.
