Reformation Festival October 29, 2023 – 9:30 am A warm welcome to all worshiping with Resurrection Lutheran Church today! We celebrate together God’s work in our lives as we receive His Word and Sacraments to strengthen our relationship with Him and one another. By the blood of Christ, we are made the household of God. Here, God builds us up by grace, through faith, and for service! During the age of the Reformation, from which our church traces its history, people like Martin Luther took a strong stand on three basic tenets of theology: namely, that it is by grace alone that we are saved; it is from Scripture alone that the church receives its doctrine; and it is by faith alone in God’s grace – not by good works – that we are justified before God. Sermon by Pastor Jonathan Blanke Made Free John 8:31b-36 First Reading, Revelation 14:6-7 Epistle, Romans 3:19-28 Holy Gospel, John 8:31b-36 (Our apologies for the technical difficulties this morning. Our internet connection was just not cooperating. Thankfully, it did for the 9:30 am service, for the most part. Thank you for your patience and understanding.)
