LIVE CATHOLIC 7AM | FRIDAY OF THE TWENTY FIFTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME | September 26, 2025
TODAY’S REFLECTION Jesus asks two vitally important questions of his disciples: first, “who do people say that I am?” and second, “who do you say that I am?” knowing and professing Jesus for who he is, “the Christ of God”, is of vital importance for his disciples. Their answers satisfy Jesus and he asks them not to tell anyone as he has to undergo his passion, death and resurrection he is the Christ, the anointed one, the saviour of the world. His identity gives identity to his disciples. His mission becomes the mission of the disciples. His passion and death and resurrection will also be theirs. It is in him that we have our salvation. Today’s Saint and Quote: Pope Paul VI (Blessed) – September 26th Every mother is like Moses. She does not enter the Promised Land. She prepares a world she will not see.
