The local food scene in Bologna, a city near Florence: From Bolognese pasta to local wine Lambrusco

‘Oh, this is the whole of Italy.’ It was my initial thought after the first meal in Bologna. When you go to a place known for its food, even the smallest things on the table are delicious. It's like you're in a place where whatever you grab, there's a high threshold of flavour. The bread served casually, the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese on the table, and the gelato at a random shop near your neighbourhood. it's just perfect. I'll be back there again, maybe for three nights to get drunk on wine, ham, and pasta. P.S. Btw, I was wondering about putting the highlights at the beginning of the video... what would make it more watchable? - 00:00 Arrival at Bologna station 01:09 Salted pistachio gelato 08:44 A century-old Bolognese café 10:58 Decent Italian osteria 11:06 Local wine, Lambrusco 11:51 Bolognese pasta and sage balanzoni 13:19 Chianina steak 14:00 Coffee panna cotta and chocolate tenerina 15:42 Trailer - Stay at a agriturismo in Modena, the City of Balsamic - If you want subtitles, please turn on subtitles feature
