Kundan is a 1993 Hindi drama film starring Dharmendra, Jaya Prada, Amrish Puri, Farha Naaz. Thakur Shamsher Singh, who is involved in criminal activities, decides to trap SP Kundan Singh after realizing that the honest cop is a threat to him. Thakur fails to bribe Kundan and targets his family. Synopsis: Thakur Shamsher Singh lives a wealthy life primarily funded by criminal activities such as smuggling and drug dealing. He has managed to avoid any legal consequences due to his connections with several high-ranking politicians and police officials. When a newspaper editor exposes his wrongdoings, he takes drastic action against the family. When he learns that Superintendent of Police Kundan Singh has been specially transferred from Delhi to apprehend him, he initially tries to befriend him. However, when he realizes that Kundan cannot be influenced, he devises a cunning plan to entrap Kundan, his wife Parvat, their pet dog, and a monkey, ensuring that he can continue to reign as the undisputed king of the underworld.
