As the name suggests these creamy Chicken Lifafa Samosas are uniquely folded like a envelope with creamy chicken filling, Now you can make and freeze them at home for ramazan. #happycookingtoyou #foodfusion #digitalammi #arraywah #samosa #easyramadanrecipes #OlpersDairyCream #GoodnessBarhao Recipe in English: Ingredients: Prepare Creamy Chicken Filling: -Cooking oil 2 tbs -Chicken qeema (Mince) 500g -Pyaz (Onion) chopped 2 medium -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) ½ tbs -Hot sauce 1 tbs -Soy sauce 1 tbs -Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp -Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste -Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp -Hari mirch (Green chilli) chopped 1 tbs -Olper’s Cream ½ Cup (room temperature) -Shimla mirch (Capsicum) chopped ½ Cup -Olper’s Mozzarella cheese grated 2-3 tbs -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped handful Prepare Samosa Dough: -Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 3 Cups -Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste -Cooking oil 3 tbs -Water 1 Cup or as required -Olper’s Cheddar cheese slices as required -Flour slurry (2 tbs all-purpose flour + 4 tbs water) -Cooking oil for frying Directions: Prepare Creamy Chicken Filling: -In a wok,add cooking oil,chicken mince & mix well until it changes color. -Add onion & mix well. -Add ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes. -Add hot sauce,soy sauce,red chilli crushed,pink salt,black pepper powder,green chilli,mix well & cook for 4-5 minutes. -On low flame,add cream,mix well & cook for a minute. -Let it cool. -Add capsicum,mozzarella cheese,fresh coriander,mix well & set aside. Prepare Samosa Dough: -In a bowl,add all-purpose flour,pink salt,cooking oil & mix well until it crumbles. -Gradually add water,mix well & knead until dough is formed. -Grease with cooking oil,cover & let it rest for 30 minutes. -Divide the dough in four portions. -Take one portion,make a ball,sprinkle dry flour & roll out into a thin sheet with the help of rolling pin. -Cut the rolled dough into square shape then cut into equal size of 4 squares (each 5 x 5 inch). -Add prepared creamy chicken filling in the center of rolled dough & place a cheddar cheese slice on it. -Apply flour slurry on the edges,fold all the corners of dough to make a mini envelope & seal properly (makes 22). -Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 months in freezer. -In a wok,heat cooking oil & fry samosa on low flame until golden & crispy. -Serve with tomato ketchup! Recipe in Urdu: Directions: Prepare Creamy Chicken Filling: -Karahi mein cooking oil aur chicken qeema dal dein aur rang tabdeel ho janay tak ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 1-2 minutes kliya paka lein. -Hot sauce,soy sauce,lal mirch crushed,pink salt,kali mirch powder aur hari mirch dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein. -Halki ancch per cream dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein. -Thanda ker lein. -Shimla mirch,mozzarella cheese aur hara dhania dal ker ache tarhan mix karein & side per rakh dein. Prepare Samosa Dough: -Bowl mein maida,pink salt aur cooking oil dal ker crumble ho janay tak ache tarhan mix karein. -Thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein. -Cooking oil sa grease karein aur dhak ker 30 minutes kliya chor dein. -Dough ko four portions mein divide karein. -Ek portion la ker ball bana lein,maida chirak dein aur rolling pin ki madad sa thin sheet mein bail lein. -Rolled dough ko square shape mein cut karein phir 4 equal sizes mein cut ker lein (each 5 x 5 inch). -Tayyar creamy chicken filling ko dough ka center mein dal dein aur upper sa cheddar cheese slice rakh dein. -Flour slurry ko edges mein laga lein aur dough ka corners ko fold ker ka mini envelop shape bana lein & properly seal ker lein (makes 22). -Airtight container mein dal ker 2 months kliya freezer mein store ker saktay han. -Karahi mein cooking oil garam karein aur halki ancch per golden & crispy ho janay tak fry ker lein. -Tomato ketchup ka saath serve karein!
