Masoor Dal Dosa - No Soaking, Fermentation

Instant Masoor Dal Dosa is a tasty breakfast item which can be prepared in under 10 minutes. This crispy dosa has a nice orange colour and is prepared using masoor dal, garlic cloves and red chillies. The uniqueness of the dish is that the dal need not be soaked nor the batter needs any fermentation, and can be prepared instantly. Approx. preparation and cooking time: 10 mins List of ingredients: 1. Raw masoor dal - 1 cup (approx. makes 10 dosas) 2. Garlic cloves - 4 3. Red chillies - 3 4. Salt - 1 and half teaspoons 5. Finely chopped onion - 1 cup 6. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 small cup Method of preparation: 1. Take 1 cup raw masoor dal (not soaked or cooked), wash thoroughly, drain all the water and transfer into the mixer jar. 2. Also, into the mixer jar, add 4 garlic cloves, 3 red chillies and grind to make a thick smooth batter (ensure flowy consistency), adding water whenever required. 3. Next, transfer the ground batter into a broad vessel, add 1 and half teaspoons salt (can vary as per taste and quantity) and mix well. 4. Pour the batter on hot tawa to make a round dosa, garnish with chopped onion, coriander leaves, drizzle some oil and cook until both the sides are nicely done. 5.
