ford fiesta 1.0 eco boost wet belt replacement

The customer was complaining of low oil pressure on start up and with my knowledge I knew exactly what the cause was and it was the oil strainer blocked up from all the fibers off the timing belt. as you can see it was a very involved job and I ran into a few problems including the AC pump bolts snapping and also all the bolts on the heat shield of the exhaust had all corroded and this was very time consuming to remove them. I did this job with out the torque multiplier and used laster tools 6952 timing tool, I torqued the crank bolt back up with a new friction washer which is not fitted from factory up to 300nm and then a further 90⁰. it's is a labour intensive job. #ford #ecoboost #timingbelt #engine #mechanic #automotive #mechaniclife #carrrepair #sendit 🤙🤙
