Eucharistic Miracle in India!

Does God still work miracles today? Yes — and not only in extraordinary ways. The greatest miracle on earth happens at every Catholic Mass: the transformation of ordinary bread and wine into the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. This is the miracle of the Eucharist — the source and summit of the Christian life. In this video, we explore a powerful and recently recognized Eucharistic miracle in India. On November 15, 2013, during Holy Mass at Christ the King Church in Vilakkannur, Kerala, celebrated by Fr. Thomas Pathickal, a mysterious spot appeared on the consecrated host. As Mass continued, the spot became brighter and gradually formed what appeared to be the holy face of Jesus Christ. After a 12-year theological review and scientific investigation, the Vatican officially recognized this miracle on May 31, 2025. Why would Jesus perform such a miracle? Eucharistic miracles are not given for those who already believe in Christ’s Real Presence. They are signs for those who struggle with doubt — powerful reminders of what Jesus proclaimed in John 6:53-56: “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you…” The Catholic Church teaches that at every Mass, through the power of the Holy Spirit, the bread and wine become Christ Himself — not a symbol, but truly and substantially present. As St. Thomas Aquinas affirmed, the Eucharist is Christ Himself, sacramentally present under the appearances of bread and wine.
