F.E.A.R. is a first-person shooter psychological horror game developed by Monolith Productions. F.E.A.R. or First Encounter Assault Recon is a special military unit for the elimination of all kinds of terrorism. The protagonist Point Man belongs to this group and is sent with his squad on a mission to eliminate the threat posed by Paxton Fettel, who directs an army of clones telepathically. Unfortunately, the mission goes wrong and Paxton manages to escape. Point Man and his squad embark on further missions to stop Fettel. Another threat is also posed by a mysterious and sinister little girl with psionic abilities. In addition, the protagonist often experiences strange and macabre visions involving Paxton and this girl. He soon learns that they have a connection to him.
