This is Reign of Christ Sunday. Each year, on the last Sunday of the church year, Christians gather in worship to proclaim the ultimate power and triumph of Christ. Whenever we proclaim Christ’s reign, we also proclaim Christ crucified. This is a day for God’s subversive power.
