Join us as we reflect on today’s sacred readings and draw closer to the heart of Jesus. 📕 Liturgical Readings for Today: First Reading: Song of Songs 3:1–4b “I sought him whom my heart loves.” In this poetic passage from the Song of Songs, we encounter the deep yearning of a soul in search of its beloved. Mary Magdalene mirrors this desire in her search for the risen Jesus, reminding us of the longing that exists within every heart for God's presence. Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 63:2, 3–4, 5–6, 8–9 My soul is thirsting for you, O Lord my God. This beautiful psalm is a cry of the soul for union with God. It reflects Mary Magdalene’s fervent search at the tomb and our own desire to be spiritually filled and renewed by God’s love. Gospel: John 20:1–2, 11–18 “I have seen the Lord.” This Gospel narrates Mary Magdalene's powerful encounter with the risen Jesus. Her tearful search turns into joy as Jesus calls her by name. She becomes the first to proclaim the Resurrection — the “Apostle to the Apostles.” Her witness calls us to personal encounter and evangelization. ✨ Reflection & Message: Mary Magdalene teaches us many vital truths: 🔸 Repentance: Her transformation from a sinner to a saint shows that no one is beyond redemption. 🔸 Love and Loyalty: She stayed with Jesus through His Passion, death, and resurrection, proving her unwavering devotion. 🔸 Evangelization: She was the first to carry the Good News of the Resurrection. Like her, we are called to go forth and proclaim Christ. As we meditate on her life, let us ask for the grace to love Christ more deeply, to seek Him with longing hearts, and to proclaim Him with joyful courage. 🙏 Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for the life of Saint Mary Magdalene.
