โœ๏ธ Catholic Daily Bible Reading โ€“ July 22, 2025 | Feast of Saint Mary Magdalene Welcome to Word of God Bread of Life, your daily spiritual nourishment through the Word of God. Today, the Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Mary Magdalene, a powerful witness of Christ's resurrection and a true symbol of repentance and devotion. Join us as we reflect on todayโ€™s sacred readings and draw closer to the heart of Jesus. ๐Ÿ“• Liturgical Readings for Today: First Reading: Song of Songs 3:1โ€“4b โ€œI sought him whom my heart loves.โ€ In this poetic passage from the Song of Songs, we encounter the deep yearning of a soul in search of its beloved. Mary Magdalene mirrors this desire in her search for the risen Jesus, reminding us of the longing that exists within every heart for God's presence. Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 63:2, 3โ€“4, 5โ€“6, 8โ€“9 My soul is thirsting for you, O Lord my God. This beautiful psalm is a cry of the soul for union with God. It reflects Mary Magdaleneโ€™s fervent search at the tomb and our own desire to be spiritually filled and renewed by Godโ€™s love. Gospel: John 20:1โ€“2, 11โ€“18 โ€œI have seen the Lord.โ€ This Gospel narrates Mary Magdalene's powerful encounter with the risen Jesus. Her tearful search turns into joy as Jesus calls her by name. She becomes the first to proclaim the Resurrection โ€” the โ€œApostle to the Apostles.โ€ Her witness calls us to personal encounter and evangelization. โœจ Reflection & Message: Mary Magdalene teaches us many vital truths: ๐Ÿ”ธ Repentance: Her transformation from a sinner to a saint shows that no one is beyond redemption. ๐Ÿ”ธ Love and Loyalty: She stayed with Jesus through His Passion, death, and resurrection, proving her unwavering devotion. ๐Ÿ”ธ Evangelization: She was the first to carry the Good News of the Resurrection. Like her, we are called to go forth and proclaim Christ. As we meditate on her life, let us ask for the grace to love Christ more deeply, to seek Him with longing hearts, and to proclaim Him with joyful courage. ๐Ÿ™ Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for the life of Saint Mary Magdalene. Grant us a heart like hers โ€” filled with love, faith, and courage. Help us to seek You always and to proclaim the risen Christ to the world. Amen. โœ๏ธ ๐Ÿ“Œ Did You Know? Saint Mary Magdalene is sometimes referred to as the โ€œApostle of the Apostlesโ€ because she was the first person to announce the Resurrection to the disciples. ๐Ÿ“ฒ Stay Connected: ๐Ÿ‘‰ Donโ€™t forget to Like, Share, and Subscribe to Word of God Bread of Life for your daily Bible reading and spiritual growth. ๐Ÿ”” Click the bell icon to get notified every day with a fresh Word of God! ๐Ÿ“ค Share the Word โ€“ Be a blessing to others! ๐Ÿ”– Tags: #SaintMaryMagdalene #CatholicDailyReading #BibleReadingJuly22 #FeastOfSaintMaryMagdalene #John20 #CatholicGospel #CatholicChurch #DailyScripture #MaryMagdalene #CatholicFeastDay #Resurrection #CatholicReflection #CatholicYouTube #CatholicFaith #WordOfGod #BreadOfLife #BibleReadingToday #Psalm63 #CatholicDevotion #ApostleToTheApostles #CatholicCommunity #HolyGospel #GospelOfTheDay #CatholicWomenSaints #JesusIsRisen #CatholicMeditation #CatholicVlog #CatholicBibleStudy #CatholicWorship #DailyMassReading #July22BibleReading Feast of Saint Mary Magdalene 2025 Catholic Daily Mass Readings July 22 Gospel of John 20:1โ€“18 reflection Song of Songs 3:1โ€“4b meditation 2 Corinthians 5:14โ€“17 spiritual insight Psalm 63: My soul thirsts for You Mary Magdalene meets the risen Christ Catholic feast days July calendar Women in the Bible โ€“ Mary Magdalene Catholic liturgical readings 2025 Resurrection encounter at the tomb Catholic spirituality and devotion Daily Bible readings for reflection Catholic prayer and worship themes Saint Mary Magdalene โ€“ Apostle to the Apostles
